Super Bowl Sunday

We're having a Super Bowl Party on Sunday. How about you? Are you planning something for friends and family?

We've always been a family that enjoyed holidays and celebrations and the Super Bowl is no exception. Any excuse to have a party is alright by me!!!

I'm planning the menu which will consist of easy to serve foods. Today I'll do the shopping and tomorrow will find me baking homemade brownies (frosted, of course) from an old recipe that I've used for years.

So far, the menu goes like this:

BBQ Ribs
Sloppy Joes
Buffalo Wings
Baked Beans
Potato Salad
Veggie Tray
Fruit Tray
Chips and a variety of dips
Frosted Brownies
Beer
Wine
Pop
Iced Tea
(and more, as I think of it)

***Are you planning a party or will Sunday be a quiet day at your house?

  1. The Super Bowl is Sunday? ;) We don't pay much attention to football at our house.

Your menu sounds fabulous! What time should I be there? :)

    Have a great weekend, Barbara.

  8. Several of us usually gather for dinner Sunday evening, so I suspect we will take a gander at the game from time to time, but not really devoted to either team this year.

  9. Sounds great! My sister-in-law is handling all the food this year~ Years past I always did fun munchies and sandwiches and such...but I believe she is completely breaking tradition and making a big dinner. She is a great cook so we are rejoicing~ Hope you have a great day with the family!
    Blessings,

P.S. Hubby and I lived about 25 miles West of Phoenix. As you can imagine, ALL of Arizona is abuzz.
