National Chocolate Chip Day

Ladies and Gentleman, tomorrow is National Chocolate Chip Day!

Don't we have a special day for everything? If you're like me, though, anytime is a good time for a party or special celebration.

So anyway, speaking of chocolate....if you could have a delicious chocolate treat, which would you prefer?

1. Chocolate chip cookies

2. White chocolate

3. A mixture of white and dark chocolate

4. Dark chocolate kisses

5. A chocolate candy bar with nuts

6. A chocolate candy bar with caramel

7. A big piece of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting

8. A hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and a cherry on top

9. A chocolate mocha

10. Or something else?

Don't forget the Pashmina drawing on June 1st (see last post)

  3. Ginger chocolates. Chunks of candied ginger coated in rich dark chocolate. They are the most wonderful thing!

  6. Hi Barbara, In honor of the upcoming summer season which we are counting down on your blog, I choose number 8, with chocolate ice cream, and a little extra hot fudge!

  8. To celebrate the National Chocolate Chip Day, I would definitely go for the chocolate chip cookies! It’s a classic, I know, but I can never resist a good chocolate chip cookie. Ps. visit Dove Chocolate Discoveries’ webpage for divine recipes with chocolate chips.

  10. They all sound good, but number 8, you can't go wrong with that one. I also like hot pop corn, after I put it into my bowl to eat, I throw on some M & M's. The chocolate inside gets warn and soft but the shell keeps it from melting, and the chocolate and salty corn are good together.

We have a candy company (Ester Price) in Dayton Ohio, and a potato chip company(Mikesells) also in Dayton, Ester Price Candies now make chocolate covered potato chips, they really put the chocolate on thick. Makes for a nice treat.

  11. Ohhh, so hard to choose. But if it's a really good one, I guess I'd choose the chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. Otherwise, I'd go for a Lindt dark chocolate bar.

  12. I would go with my new favorite flavor of gelato: "Picante". It is chocolate that has a hint of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick. It is amazing.

    What about you Barbara?

  14. Doris- We live near a Costco and they have THE BEST moist chocolate cake...very rich, though.

  15. Dani- That does sound like a bit of a "kick"...

My favorite is white chocolate, which I think is really not a chocolate at all. I love white chocolate, macadamia nut cookies!

  16. I love what they call white chocolate, but if I had to pick something from the list, it would be #8. Yum.
