New Year's Resolutions

My resolutions for 2010. What are yours?

1. Lose 5 lbs. (already lost 2 lbs./ideal weight is 128 lbs.)

2. Have the downstairs family room and guest bedroom finished by Feb. 15 (family room gets finished today! everyone is saying yea!!)

3. Put in a new kitchen sink (this is a must do!)

4. Put in new kitchen flooring (badly needed)

5. Practice patience (this is going to be a big challenge)

6. Save money wherever I can (this is an even bigger challenge!)

7. Read 100 books this year (remember, I do book reviews)

8. Exercise every other day (every day is asking too much of myself)

9. Cut back on sugar (I'll try to cut back, but I can't give it up completely)

10. Visit my out-of-town children at least once each month (they live 2 hours away)

Good resolutions, especially the last. ha ha. I'm excited to see the changes in the downstairs, that will really increase the square footage--a lot more livable space--and we'll need it!

Great goals. I guess I need to write some down also. Sigh!

Barbara, I think even considering you're a book reviewer, you're a fantastically fast reader! 100 books is incredible.

Best with all your goals. *hugs*

Barbara, I need to finish 3 books that I have started. That is a goal in itself. Finish a book when I start it. I also said I wanted to have a better attitude, and to be a better person. By that I mean to have more patience, control my thoughts about the grey weather, don't make judgements about people or circumstances. I also first of all want to be the woman that God has called me to be. As for the house, I am determined to get the craft/sewing/spare bedroom cleaned and orderly. Good to see on Face Book. And here too.

Wonderful Resolutions!

I don't make them; however, I have told myself not to be so danged hard on myself about things that I cannot control!.... all in all, I'm excited about the new year.

These are wonderful resolutions. My only resolution is to talk personally to each of the 15 grandchildren personally at least once a month.
