"You must have a place to which you can go in your heart, your mind, or your house, almost everyday, where you do not owe anyone and where no one owes you--a place that simply allows for the blossoming of something new and promising."

So Much.....
"So much has been given me, I have no time to ponder over that which has been denied."
Hi Barbara. :) Oh it's hard to choose just one! Anyway, today in our little part of the U.K. the sun is shining and it's a gorgeous Spring day, which means I'll have an enjoyable time working in the garden and walking the dogs through the woods.
Helen Keller was a remarkable person. I love the picture you've posted too Barbara. I would love it if all those little birds would feed from my hand like that. :)
Beautiful quote! I'm trying to make gratitude the first thing in the morning and the last thing at night. It's changed a lot for me during the in between time.
Hi Barbara, yes it's hard for me to choose just one blessing too... We have had refreshing rains last night/this morning......I have planned a long awaited trip to Miami Beach, and have no fears about going by myself, via Amtrak....
I was able to get out of bed this morning...no pain to speak of!
I have food to eat, and a safe place to live........
I have been very recently "shown The Light." This is huge. I absolutely know that God had a part in this, without a doubt.
The picture of the Hands and birds is so peaceful and safe feeling. Love it.
Hello Barbara... oh, today, the sun through my bedroom window and I thought "oh, I had several hours of uninterrupted sleep!" wonderful...and the birds singing, the creek rushing - yes...wonderful.
Love the quote, to imagine Helen Keller's life, and her amazing attitude here is so thought provoking. It could bring tears to my eyes, her way of having no self pity. I think this quote would be my blessing, for her words to touch me in such a moving way.
I've had so many blessings today. The gift of a brand new day, breakfast with my husband, my youngest daughter and her husband, an in-person visit with my blogging friend Lea, a restful afternoon, a long distance call from a dear childhood friend, a good book to read, a faithful husband beside me, healing time for little Catherine, beautiful comments from all of you, and life itself.
Barbara, One blessing today was meeting you and having a nice chat with you and Jim. Think I am having to send this anon. because I can't seem to get the other to work. Oh well. Thanks for coming over to see us. We got home about 6 - not much snow here, just in patches. Lea

We were blessed with some much needed rain this morning.
The morning cuddle, hugs and kisses and "I love you" from my hubby.
Today our grandaughter comes off the respirator--so that's a wonderful blessing for us. We're looking forward to seeing her this afternoon.
Waking up and saying good morning God.

A beautiful day with sunshine and warm temperatures. I'm headed outside!

Spending time with my daughter as we decorated a cake together. That was such a blessing!
Daydreams- Isn't it wonderful when we get to quality spend time with those we love the most?
The gift of forgiveness is the best gift I have today.
Becca- One of the most important blessings of all.
I was blessed to visit this blog and find these words on a day the reminder was much needed ...
Thank you.
Tess- Thanks for visiting!
I talked with both children today and they're doing well.
