The Science of Life After Death

Author: Stephen Hawley Martin
Paperback: 192 pages
Publisher: Oaklea Press (August 15, 2009)
ISBN-10: 1892538520

My Review:

After an interesting experience in the early 1970s, I began to read every book I could find on "out of body/near death" experiences. Since then I've accumulated several dozen books on the subject.

I was recently introduced to The Science of Life After Death (New Research Shows Human Consciousness Lives On) by Stephen Hawley Martin. This new book contains vivid accounts of near death/out of body experiences that I had not previously read. It also reports on what the typical "end of life review" is like; quotes numerous researchers in this particular field; and lists additional books on the subject.

Some chapters are:
*Almost Fifty Years of Irrefutable Research
*Life Between Lives
*How Non Physical Reality Forms the Physical

For those who are searching for answers to the questions of life after death, this is a must read.
(Thanks to the author for my review copy.)

What a controversial subject! But for those of us who know the Lord, there is no question!

I am curious to read what others think and will probably read this book. Thanks for the review.

Donna- I think most people are more curious about the process than the outcome. Don't you?

Very interesting. Years ago I read a book called, Dying Testimonies of the Saved and Unsaved, written in 1898 ... here's a link to an online copy of the book:

In researching my family history, I came upon a journal note (on line) about an aunt that died at a young age (16) in 1920. She had a very angelic look to her growing up (attributed to Bright's disease).. needless to say, as was custom in years gone by, her body was laid out in her coffin in the family parlor at home. She sat up in the coffin and said, "I've seen Jesus Christ" .. laid back down dead. Her entire family witnessed this.

Mrs.Mac- Thanks for sharing that extraordinary family story!

to believe we come into life just to be no more, is very sad I believe God had a better plan for us through Christ, and gave us the freedom of choice to choose ever lasting life through the blood of Christ, and to live on in a body that will suffer no more. Amen
