There are some things we just can't live without. And since we are into November, here's a short list of my Fall favorites:
1. Yellow wet-look rain slicker
2. Red wool Sweater
3. A garden rake for the orange and yellow falling leaves
4. Clicking snow tires
5. Tartan plaid stadium blanket
6. Down comforter

That old ratty hand-me-down comfy sweater you can't bear to part with, even though it makes you look like a lump.
Cozy thick socks.
Sunday afternoon football with friends & family and a huge pot of chili.
Angie- I understand and love all of them, too!!!
Fake Uggs--they're like wearing slippers. Super comfy. I have mine on today. (Real Uggs would be great, too, of course.)
Linda R.- I've never worn Uggs, but hear they're great.
Nice list if you live in a colder climate. I pulled my summer blouses out again this week for our 80+ temperatures. But I love pumpkins, and fall recipes--for when it gets cooler??? And what are Uggs??
Pat- Uggs are cozy boots.
Pat- Another thought--Uggs are also slippers that can be worn outside.
I have a pair of real Ugg slippers my sister got me last Christmas and fake Ugg boots. Either are wonderful. My addition to the list is my thick fuzzy warm socks that go in my barn boots.
Lea- Warm fuzzy socks would be wonderful. Gotta get a pair!
I live in Phoenix- almost nothing on your list is a necessity here! :)
Down comforter, maybe- because it does get chilly at night.
Chilly, not cold. Occasionally we drop below freezing. :)
Here, a nice light jacket works just fine. The red wool sweater MAYBE if it gets cold enough. And I do love a good pair of warm, fuzzy socks, because my feet get cold.
This time of year I love the fall foods- pumpkin pie, egg nog, apple cider. That's what I love about fall.
Avily- I can't wait for all the Thanksgiving food!!
How about a nice, long book to settle in with when we're beneath our blankets and wearing our Uggs and socks and wool sweaters?
Sweatshirts for that off-chilly day here in Florida!
If I lived in a colder climate I might say BOOTS! or a fire pit. (I still want a fire pit) A pot of Chili on the stove & homemade cornbread. Glad to meet ya!
Sharon- Welcome to my world!!!
I would add a nice woolly hat!
Jeannette- Hats don't look too good on me, but I love them.
