Do you make New Year's Resolutions? I've made them for years and never get more than one or two completed, but I love the challenge. Here are a few of mine for the coming year.
1. Lose 5 pounds.
2. Get rid of a "ton of junk" at a yard sale.
3. Relax more.
4. Write, write, write.
***What are your goals for 2009?

Great job with the picture! :) And great, "simple" list. I'll be posting my goals on Thursday...
I wanna come look through all your junk. There might be some treasures in there! :)
Hmmm...resolutions? Keep my sanity? Yeah, that's a good one with all the snow. And, if it ever stops--I want to ride C'ya, my 3 year old filly, out on a trail. I want to rewrite my mother/son memoir--A Moment With Her Son--in first person, as it should be. I want to saddle train (but not ride, since she's not old enough) Beautiful, my Mustang filly. I really want to see her be sound this year--if I can do anything to help that.
Janna- Yes, I try to keep it simple. Even at that, they're difficult to complete.
It seems I keep EVERYTHING, but now it HAS TO GO. I'm ready to lead a more organized, peaceful life. I think lots of "stuff" causes stress....for me, anyway.
Blessings!
Linda R.- Wow, that sounds like a lot of work, but things I know are very important in your life. Thinking of you in all that snow. Stay safe!!
My main thing is to do all I can to say healthy and maintain my weight loss. #2 to save enought so I can go to Mississippi to visit my neice. #3 get rid of more stuff. It makes me feel good to rid myself of the clutter. #4 Ride, ride, ride this spring, summer and fall.
hmm i never seem to keep my resolutions! so i usually don't make any! but i will try to eat less sugar!
Lea- I'm right with you on getting rid of lots of stuff. Clutter stresses me out.
Giveaway Diva- I hear you. Sugar is my weakness. I have got to cut down, too.
I'm going to try to live a more simpler life. So, I'm going to be getting rid of alot of clutter-spiritual, physical, material and mental.
All of those things involve alot of other little things.
I wore my Pashima scarf the other day and had several complements on it. THank you again.
Blessings
First, yay for the photograph! Looks good. I'm so with you on your Resolution #4, Write! It's nice to start the new year with fresh ideas, a sense of beginnings. And that resolution is tied in with a resolution to being open to possibilities, in any way. It gives a sense of adventure to the year ahead.
Patty- I'm so happy to hear about your pashmina.
Good luck in the New Year!
Joanne- You were so kind to help me with the picture. Thanks so very much and best wishes for a successful year in writing.
I just found out I won one of the beautiful scarves and am so excited.
My goals this year are to lose 15 pounds
read my Bible every day (even if it's just one passage)
write more handwritten notes
have more dates with my husband
Mrs. Mac- I need to do some of those myself.
