I'm babysitting Matt and Tileena's baby schnauzer, Abby, this weekend while they are on a ski vacation with Tileena's family in McCall, Idaho.
Matt called late last night to tell me they had been in an accident and Tileena's car was totaled. It sounds like they swerved to miss a deer and the car spun out of control. He assured me they were not seriously injured--just shook up a bit. Tileena's family came to pick them up and transport them, safely on, to McCall.
I am so thankful this morning that my son and Tileena were not injured or worse. Thank you Lord for watching over them.

Barbara, I'm so glad Matt and Tileena are okay! What a frightening experience for them, and for you. I know from my daughter's similar accident, it makes you want to hug them even closer with gratitude! Thank God they weren't hurt, prayers to you all.
Joanne- I thought about you and your daughter as I wrote the post this morning.
I guess the conditions were just right for Matt and Tileena..no oncoming traffic and no steep drop-offs or ditches.
Oh Barbara, I am thankful along with you for Matt and Tileena. How scarey that must have been and you KNOW that you know God's hand was on them. Blessings to you today.
Lea- Yes, yes, yes, they were being carried in the hand of God.
Barbara, so sorry to hear about the accident, but thankful that they weren't hurt. We did almost the same thing on vacation 7 years ago, we came home from vacation, but our vehicle did NOT. Only slight injuries on my part, believe me, after looking at our totaled truck, I realized it could have been much worse. It has made me realize more than ever to be grateful for every minute I have because you just never know...
Goodness! Somehow I missed, in previous posts, that Matt is your son. Thank God for His protection! It sure seems we have a lot of tragic accidents all around lately. His angels are working overtime!
JD- Yes, life is so uncertain. We are not promised another minute, are we? I have learned over the years to be thankful for every moment.
Janna- Yes, Matt's my youngest son; I have five other children and have said many prayers on all their behalf.
Wow so scary so glad they are alright. Its great to know that even though us as mothers cant be with them all the time our precious father can be. Blessings, Karen
Karen- Yes, we are never alone. Praises!
So happy that Matt and Tileena are okay. A frightening experience none the less! God was certainly wit them. Love to all,
Willa Fae- It's still upsets me to think I might have lost my Matt. I'm so thankful they are both ok.
Barbara,
so thankful that they were not hurt.
Blessings,
vikki
Vikki- Thank you so much.
So glad they are okay... My son came out of a roll over accident unscathed last year. It obviously could have been so much worse.. I'm thinking that something like this can impact their lives in a positive way in the future...No one knows what tomorrow may bring.
Thank God. Must've been a day of close calls. We were in E.R. with my mom for what turned out to be a bad bladder infection.
Oh, forgot to say I'm doing a reminder of your contest today. Happy Sunday!
Praise God for watching over them and keeping them safe!
Michele- We just never know when the end will come.
Angie- I pray your mom is feeling better.
Angie- Thank you and I'll make sure to give you the extra points.
Terri- Yes, I have been praising God for His mercy.
So happy for you that they are safe. Cars can be replaced as we all know. But not family or friends. Have a terrific Sunday, you have a lot to be thankful for today.
Patty- Thank you and I hope your Sunday is wonderful, too.
So glad to read that Matt and Tileena are okay after that accident. They are a cute couple!
Judy- Thank you and thank you!
