We brought Tucker James home from the hospital this morning. He was so glad to be in the car and talked all the way home! The staff at the clinic all really loved him and came out to say good-bye. They said that he is such a gentle, sweet boy. *lots of smiles from me*
He still has a bladder infection, but the vet let him come home to rest and get well. He's on antibiotics and we have been ask to bring him back daily until he's completely over the infection. There will be no charge for those little visits, which makes me happy!!
Now it's just a matter of him eating his special food, taking his medicine, and resting.
(He looks angry in the photo, but in reality he's a gentle giant.)

I'm so glad he is at home and feeling better!
Missy- He still isn't 'peeing' as much as he should. They think his bladder is too irritated.
Yay! I hope he'll soon be out of the woods.
Linda- He's being a good patient--eating good, drinking his water, and 'peeing'a little at a time...all good signs!
Yay! I'm glad he's home and talking! That means he's happy and feeling ok. He is now on the mend and will be all better soon.
:-)
Nancy- I think the talking is a real good sign.
imbookingit- Thanks so much for your good wishes!
I'm glad Tucker James is back home Barbara! He must be on the mend when they've allowed him to go. I love his beautiful almond-shaped eyes. :)
Glad to hear sweet Tucker got to come home! Will still keep him in my prayers that he'll completely heal and be back to his usual self!
Lesley- thank you for the sweet thoughts.
Anita- He still needs prayer, for sure. He's a sick boy. thank you!
Great news! Welcome home Tucker James! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Donna- Tucker James says "thank you."
Happy Birthday!!! Sending you a birthday hug--I'll give you a real one tomorrow when I see you. :)
Linda- OK! You promise?
That's sweet!!
Tucker James, welcome home. You are a well prayed for kitty.
I'm so glad your big gray kitty is home. Hope he recovers fully soon.
So glad he is better.

Thanks a million!
So glad he's home!
Vikki
Vikki G- Thank you for caring.
Great news! Sounds like Tucker James is happy to be home. Cats are so sociable sometimes. One of my cats used to wink at me...he'd stop and cock his head while he was doing it. I can't have animals now because my husband is allergic. =(
I am so glad to see that Tucker James is home and expected to make a complete recovery. It is so important to stick to the special food. In my case, my LeLoup never had the problem again and I credit that to the food and a lot of fresh water.
Carmen- What a cute and unusual thing--that winking!! That story makes me smile.
Patricia- He thought he was going to come home and enjoy the same old food and routine. He's looking everywhere for his old food. He even cries for it.
I take him back to the vet this morning. I hope he's ok.
what a blessing that your little guy was able to come home. Of course he is much more comfortable than being at the vets. That means he will heal faster. I'm sure you feel much better.
Have a wonderful week,
Jolyn
Jolyn- Yes, he is very comfortable at home. He's sleeping and eating well. So far, he's making progress.
Glad to here he is feeling better-come see one of his brothers at Chocolate and Croissants: The Cat in the Hat entry.
Hope Tucker James is doing much better.
I assume that Tucker James has gotten accustomed to his new food. A friend once said, "He (his cat) wouldn't touch the food the first day but it really looked good on the second day." It is a matter of getting used to the new food. There are several brands of this prescription food so you may want to test him with different ones.
