Tucker James Is Sick

My big cat, Tucker James, is sick and in the hospital. Thursday, we noticed we hadn't seen him in several hours, so Jim went looking for him. He found him downstairs, unable to walk. When I called the vet, they said to bring him in immediately.

They found he had a serious bladder problem and couldn't urinate. So he's been staying at the animal clinic since then. He's still not out of danger. We really won't know anything definite until Monday. I'm hoping he'll make it.

Oh poor baby! I hope the vet's able to figure out what's going on and he'll be better soon.

aww I hope he gets better. I blame these stupid cat foods that dont give cats what they should have, just lots of corn which is not good for them!! Then they get used to it though and its hard to switch foods.
I worry about my old cat who according to IAMs cat food ads, should be aging fantastically, but he's not. All he ever ate was IAMS and I dont believe I've ever seen a more decrepit 12 yr old cat. I switched him to purina one which still isnt optimal but he seems a little better.
I really hope your kitty cat is ok!!! Keep us updated!!!!

Oh Barbara, poor Tucker.... and poor you. It's awful when our pets are ill. Here's hoping that the vet can help him. My positive thoughts are with you.

p.s. Maybe it's nothing more serious than a bladder infection and once that is put right he'll be feeling much better.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, poor Tucker James. Our kitty Trouble gets special food for cats with urinary tract problems. It has kept him healthy. I think he is about 10.

oh oh! that doesn't sound good, does it and he doesn't look like he'd want to be messed around much, either. Do hope you get good news soon. I'll be watching anxiously to see how the recovery goes.
Good luck with it. Have you got insurance?
Blessings, Star

I hope that Tucker James recovers from his urinary blockage. My Maine Coon had that condition years ago and I switched him to Science Diet for the rest of his life. He never did have a reoccurrence.
