Kendyl Grace (Update)

Kendyl's grandmother (our daughter Lori) just sent me this update on Kendyl's condition. This really makes me smile!

Hi everyone,

Here are some updated pictures of Kendyl Grace.

The little pink preemie outfit she is in was sent by Jimmy and Christina! We are just getting to be able to put her in front buttoned clothes and she got her first official bath yesterday.

The doctor is still hoping for her to come home by Thanksgiving. He calls her progress miraculous but we all know and give credit to Jesus Christ for answering the prayers of friends and a loving and faithful family unit.

Should she go home by Thanksgiving it will be 6 weeks ahead of what the doctors had originally expected.

Please continue to keep her healing in prayer because she is a living example of the power of our prayers. She is feeding from a bottle every 3 hours 60 mils and pooping A LOT!

This experience keeps reminding me how fragile life is. There are many many babies in life threating situations at this very minute and please remember them in pray as well. The hospitals are filled with little babies fighting for life and health.

Love, Joe and Lori

Praise the Lord! My cousins had twin baby girls that were born 3 months too soon and through the power of prayer and God's grace, they are now home, thriving and healthy!

What a nice Thanksgiving gift. She's filling out a bit too, getting just a wee bit rounder. Halleluia!

Joanne- Having her home at Thanksgiving would be the greatest gift of all. She's going to be "spoiled" by her large family!

I just came across your blog today and Kendyl is such a doll. I am so glad that things are going well for her. It is so hard when our babies are born early and must stay in the hospital. It is a sad thing to go home alone. As a mom of 6 the first was born 6 weeks early and had to stay a week, and also as a sister to 3 premie siblings 2 born at 3 months early. I understand how thrilling it is to meet each new milestone and how each brings you closer to home.

Hugs
Amy
