Several weeks ago, Becka and Tony saw the movie at the theater. They both liked it so much that they ask Jim and I to see it, too.
I thought it was going to be a movie about firefighters, but Becka told me that it wasn't entirely about that and that it was something EVERYONE should see.
Jim and I agreed to go. I am so glad we did. The movie is a love story that every couple should see together. It was totally captivating--evoking a variety of emotions. We laughed and we cried and cried a little more on the way home.
I'm not going to tell you much about it. I'll just say that if you're married, it is a MUST SEE. IT IS LIFE CHANGING. DO NOT MISS IT. It will help your love for each other grow stronger. I promise.
It would be the perfect movie to rent for Valentine's Day.

I have not seen it but have a son who is a firefighter and I tend to stay away from those movies because the little bit I have seen scares me too much. You think we would like this one???
It is just wonderful. I know you would love it and it's not too graphic where the firefighters are concerned. It's more about a couple and how they find love again. My husband doesn't really like mushy movies, but at the end of the movie I looked over at him and he was crying. On the way home he said that EVERYONE should see this movie. I immediately pre-ordered it from Amazon and received it a few days ago. Please, please watch it and encourage ALL of your family members to watch it, too. They will be blessed by it.
Pat- One more thing, my daughter went to the Christian gift center to buy in yesterday and they were already sold out and had to reorder!
It sounds really good. I'll watch it with Mike.
Linda- Two thumbs up for you!!!
Haven't seen this movie, but will def put it on my list! Thanks for the recommendation.
Joanne- It is one my husband and I will watch many times...it is just that good.
Oh I have been wanting to see this movie so long! Now I want to see it even more! Hope you are having a good weekend! Blessings, karen
KKJD1- Run...don't walk, to see it!! You won't be disappointed.
My husband and I were touched by this movie too. Several reasons:
1 -My husband is a retired firefighter
2 - we found a faith and spirituality that made our marriage more healthy
Thanks for your visit!
Pamela- Thanks for stopping by. So glad you liked the movie!
Barbara, thank you so much for the recommendation. It sounds like a movie I would definitely like to see. It's going on my wish list.
Jill- Please let me know how you like the movie.
I had forgotten about this movie until you mentioned it. It was one of the few times that the entire audience in the theatre applauded at the end of it! I definitely enjoyed it and felt that it was valuable.
A good Valentines Day flick, huh? I will surely share all of this with Matty, and this way I shouldn't have to do much convincing. Thanks Barbra!
Michele- Thanks so much for your comments about the movie.
Tileena- I think Matty will like the movie.
Thanks for the "heads up" on this movie. My husband and I will be sure to see it. I was a volunteer on a fire department and so was my son and my favorite movies are love stories. From what I've read, I better buy a couple of boxes of tissues when I watch it!
Thanks for the recommendation. If I could ever get my hub to see something besides mayhem and war movies, maybe this one would be nice. :)
Donna- Perhaps, one for you and one for your husband.
Angie- You may have to drag him there, but he'll thank you later.
Because of your review I think I will see the movie. It sounds great!. I need a good movie.
~Dawn
Dawn- You will not regret seeing it.
I'm excited to see it. I've heard so many great things about it.
I have not heard of this movie...awww, I'm not a part of a "couple." I'm divorced now....and single....besides, *fire* is my biggets fear!
Have a nice Sunday :)
OOPS! Sorry about the typo up there. I meant to type "biggest" not biggets, lol!
Guess I'd better proof-read better!
Jen- Happy movie going!
Judy- I think any sensitive soul would like the movie-- married, dating, or single...and there's not much fire, either. LOL.
I'll have to check that out!
Kathryn- Hope you're having a great day.
Awesome movie--our church did a series on it!
Angie- I heard some churches were doing that.
I'll look for Fireproof today.I love your playlist! Thanks for your comment... glad you like my ocean painting!
Ann- Thank you.
Barbara, I have not yet seen this movie... but want to. Our church viewed it twice but because of work I was unable to be there either time. Though through the Jan. sermon series, Fireproofing your marriage, our Pastor has played clips. Though I am not married... I still want to see it. I love Kurt Cameron anyway. He did a great job in Left Behind. I love your blog.
