Let's Go Shopping...I'm Thinking Summer

The weather here is in the cool 50's, but it doesn't stop me from thinking "summer". I'll be so happy when I don't have to wear a big coat and scarf each time I go outside. So yesterday while dreaming of warmer weather, I did a little online shopping.

I bought this dress from http://www.chadwicks.com/ and the sandals below from http://www.onlineshoes.com/. I'll wear the dress on a night out and the sandals I'll wear with jeans or shorts.

The sandals are Naot. They are made in Israel and are one of the most comfortable shoes you can imagine. My daughter Linda introduced me to this brand a couple of years ago. I bought a pair of thong-type right after that. This year I thought I'd go with the strap style.
***What's your favorite Summertime outfit?

That's a very pretty dress. The length is just right, lovely neckline and length of sleeves nice too.

For Summer I like a short-ish skirt and pretty, but comfortable top.... and no tights or stockings. :) Looks very fetching with my wellies in the garden! :O)
(only joking)

The dress is gorgeous! I haven't ordered anything from Chadwick's in a very long time.

I LOVE those sandles! I'll have to check 'em out.

My summer staples are capris or burmuda-length and flops or sandals. Can't wait to get them all out again!

Capris & flip-flops here! And when temps rise to 115 I'd go naked if it wouldn't scare folks to death. My swimsuit subs just fine.

I love Spring!

Definitely flip flops (my favorite brand is Crocs) and a sundress.

I'm so excited for weather that is warm enough to not have to wear socks and shoes...just my flippies!

Great dress, what I like about it is the sleeve-length, very nice. Summer outfit? capris with a simple tank or tee, and sandals similar to the ones you ordered. And sunglasses, always!

Shorts, tank top and flip flops is what I live in in the summer. For church I have a couple of skirts that I got in Key West last year and one dress. Will be glad to dig them out of the back closet. This snow and ice is enough to get on ones nerves.

I like your dress, don't ask me how long it's been since I've worn a dress...Let's just say it's been a while. My husband would like me to wear a dress once in a while, maybe I should treat myself. My usual wardrobe is jeans and a sweatshirt, summer capri pants and tee shirts, and sandals

Just thought I would tell you that it was 83 here today. We have had almost NO winter, so I suspect my summer clothes will come out soon!

Try SAS sandals sometime. They're hand made in the US and as comfortable as they get... I"ve tried Nyat and couldn't wear them!
Cute dress!!!

Thanks to all of you for sharing your summer favorites with us.

Michele- Several years ago I came down with a severe swelling of my entire body. The doctors did not find the cause, but SAS shoes were the only brand I could wear at that time. They are VERY COMFORTABLE. Later I found Naot and loved them, too.

My Chadwicks catalog arrived a few days ago. I was pleased to see more dresses and tops with longer sleeves this year. I need them to cover my flabby upper arms!

Angie- Sounds comfortable.
