The St. Patrick's Day Tree

Today I finally took down my Valentine's Day tree and put the ornaments away until next year.
I now have the St. Patrick's Day tree decorated with little sparkle leprechaun hats, glistening shamrocks, silver beads, light green and emerald flowers, etc. I've tried to take a good photo, but it just doesn't come out as pretty as it is in person. It must be my camera. (The lights on the tree look yellow in the picture, but they are actually bright white.)
I cannot begin to express how much Jim and I have enjoyed the Valentine tree and now we have almost a month to enjoy this one.
I don't know why it has taken me so long to have these holiday trees in the house year-around.
I've started to collect ornaments for my Easter tree and have two bags full already. Fun!!
I hope you like the photo. I'm so happy to share it with you and wish you were here to see it.
***Don't forget the March 1st giveaway!!!

Oh Barbara, what a brilliant idea to have a festive tree for all the special ocassions! I was loathe to take down our Christmas/Yule decorations but now your idea is giving me something else to look forward to! :D

Your Saint Patrick tree is beautiful. What time of the day did you take your photograph? The light can affect how your photo turns out. At Christmas I took a photo of our tree at night with the house lights on and the photo came out with a yellow hue; I took another one the next morning and the photo was beautifully clear and bright.

How cool!

I'm a Flanagan, with a long history among the McFadden, Kelly, Cari clans of Celtic blood. St. Paddy's Day is one of my favorites, mostly because blarney is expected. There's lots of it at my house!

Have a beautiful day,
Kathleen
