"You must have a place to which you can go in your heart, your mind, or your house, almost everyday, where you do not owe anyone and where no one owes you--a place that simply allows for the blossoming of something new and promising."

Spring Rising
Our little valley is coming alive! The cherry trees in our orchard are filled with blossoms and remind me of this poem:
Is that a blossom? I was only thinking about the beautiful blossom trees which were in the gardens of the opposite houses where I used to live. They were tremendous.
What a beautiful picture and how appropriate the poem is! Even though it already feels a bit like summer, I definitely have spring fever and love getting to see all the bright flowers and watch the trees putting on their showy greens!
Terri- I've always enjoyed living in a place where I could experience each season. Sometimes we hardly have a winter here in the valley, but Spring is always a sight to behold!!
LiteraryNut- Don't you just love how the great poets could express what we all feel in our hearts? Shelley is definitely one of my favorites, although, I'm starting to collect the books of many poets of his day, from Everyman's Library. Everyman's publishes lovely, cloth-bound books of high quality at inexpensive prices ($10.00-$24.00). My goal is to have a large library of their books.
But back to the subject! I'm so glad you like the poem and photo.

My! You are up late!
All you bloggers in the northern hemisphere seem to wakening from your wintry rest. Enjoy!
Your tree is beautiful!! It's almost summer here already--no real spring.

Pat- I'm afraid I'm a 'night owl'
diane- I forget that some of my readers are in other areas of the world. How exciting to share our landscapes with each other.

Crystal Jigsaw- Yes, blossoms, thank you. Aren't they gorgeous?
Did Dad take that picture with his Camera? It's beautiful! We need to keep it.
Becka- I took it with my little camera and then cropped it. I think it came out pretty good, too. Thanks!
Beautiful tree and verse. Lovely. Have a great weekend.

Love your picture. Lots of things blooming over here at nikki's.
Lea- You'll have to come and visit our place sometime. It's not much, but it's our home. Blessings.
