"You must have a place to which you can go in your heart, your mind, or your house, almost everyday, where you do not owe anyone and where no one owes you--a place that simply allows for the blossoming of something new and promising."

Did You Notice?
Is it just my lack of interesting content or is the blog traffic slowing down because of summer activities?
Have you noticed a decrease in readers or an increase?
Do you have new, creative ideas to drive readers to your blog this summer?
Something odd was happening yesterday because I only had 13 looks at my Blog and last week on a given day, there were 154. I must be missing something because whatever it was that everyone else was doing, I wasn't doing it! LOL
Hmm...I don't know. At my blog traffic seems to come in waves. For few days I'll have one comment at most and then *BAM* I'll have eight comments. I guess some things I talk about are more interesting than others! I assume I need to keep working on my posting formula!
its harder for me to keep up with blogs i read because its the last two weeks before school is over for my kids and every second is occupied with their parties and end of year exams and projects. I assume everyone has periods of time like this so dont worry if people are not stopping by for a while, they're just busy.
I know I haven't been on the computer as much due to lots of spring activities happening...and when the weather is nice...I would much rather be outside than sitting at my computer...now If I had a laptop...I guess I could do both...but I don't...Oh well
I thought it might be me. I have not looked at my counter today. Alot more looking than commenting for sure. I just might be boring. Lots to do outside. Maybe thats a clue.
You could be right. People have more things to do in the real world. However it is winter here now and I haven't noticed much change even from the northern hemisphere, probably because I don't have a lot of comments anyway. However quality is more important than quantity. Its nice to have a few familiar bloggers who visit often.
I only have a few followers on my blog, but I noticed that I have had to work harder on getting to reading others blogs lately. I am trying to keep it up and leave comments regularly! It probably is harder in the summer to sit behind a computer when the sunshine is beckoning us to "come hither." =D
I have noticed things slowing down a little though. Speaking for the U.K., the weather has been fabulous here for the past few weeks and I've been working in the garden and our allotment from morning till night.
I don't really know why things should be a little slow just now. Maybe things go in cycles and the action will quicken up later on. Rest assured though Barbara, it's nothing to do with your posts. :)
It is what it is. I figure whoever reads my blog was meant to be there for whatever reason I don't need to know. (Numbers only count in the lottery I'm thinkin. ) Your blog is wonderful - it has nothing at all to do with you or your writing - it just is what it is.

It is a decrease on mine and also myself. I have had grandkids and not a moment to spare for my computer and my blog-reading. Sigh!
