It won't be long until summer is here. Today, the weather reminds us of the hot days ahead. It is already in the 80's in our valley. Temps will no doubt rise into the high 90's soon and 100 degree weather will follow.
It's time to consider summer clothing, so I'm thinking about those that are cool and comfortable, look nice when I need to run out to the store, or travel.
I've decided on pique polo dresses. They're just like polo shirts, but longer and easy to care for. I ordered them from QVC.com, in lavender, black (they were sold out of navy), red, and yellow.
We each have our own style. It may be jeans, shorts, capris pants, maxi-dresses, short dresses. What is yours?

Hi Barbara, I like capris. They are so comfortable.
Cindy- I like them, too, and wear them often. They're so cute with sandals.
Hello Barbara. For Summer I like wearing knee-length skirts of soft floaty material and a loose top.
Sorry I haven't been around lately. I haven't been so well and could hardly be bothered with anything.... but here I am again. :)
Lesley- I'm glad you're back. I've missed hearing from you!
That's a cute dress. I used to have a couple summer dresses like that, but I can't remember where I bought them. They were Navy with white and white with navy. Now I live in skorts because they're more practical when I have to hop on the 4 wheeler.
Linda- I have only one skort, but they are comfortable. I don't know why I haven't bought more.
Barbara, I like Bermuda length shorts, flowy tops, and sandals for everyday summer wear.
Karen- The flowy tops are in right now. They are in all the stores. They are soooo comfortable, aren't they?
capris, and sleeveless tops!
Terri- I get the feeling that you're pretty definite about that! Good choice.
I like capri's and tank tops. At this point and time I have one skirt and no dresses at all. Hmmmm
Lea- I'm wearing more dresses that hide my flaws. LOL.
Hi!
I love a nice long flowy skirt in the summer but this yr, I've been wearing alot of capris.
Blessings
I love capris and flip flops but when its really hot and sticky (this hasn't happened here yet) I tend to do long flowy jumpers with tank tops or skirts with gauzy tops - still and always my hippie look I guess.
