We Need A Few Giggles

Hi ladies!

We read mysteries, romances, non-fiction self-help, travel, biography, autobiography, poetry, and history books, but how many times do we read something that really makes us laugh?

I need your help. Do you have a favorite novel that really gave you the giggles?

Please tell us the title and author (if possible).

Many thanks!!

That's very observant. For the life of me, I can't think a book that's made me laugh lately. I do like the Garrison Keilor "Lake Woebegon" books -- they make me chuckle! (Excuse spelling errors pls)

Everything and anything that Erma Bombeck has written! Also "God Uses Cracked Pots" and at this moment I can't remember the Christian author.

I just heard of this one, but haven't read it. "Killer Cruise" by Laura Levine. I hear it will make you laugh.

That's easy... Venetia by Georgette Heyer. That book never fails in making me laugh and smile. It's not my normal kind of read (I like Sci/Fi), but I've read and re-read it many times since I first stumbled across it.

a book called Good Grief by Lolly Winston. Very funny and its ironic because its about a woman who becomes a young widow, and how she copes, but it was really a funny book I swear!!

P.G. Wodehouse always has been one to make me laugh. As well as Anne of Green Gables, and of course the great Erma Bombeck. She was a blogger before her time. :)

OH. AND there is a children's series called Junie B. Jones -and she is laugh out loud funny, if you're into that genre.
